My personal journey told me to move to the mountains. From my porch in the Topanga mountains, I can view the night sky, the ocean, and far-away lights at Point Dume with my Celestron telescope! The recent series ‘Mountains’ is ongoing, and draws inspiration from my everyday life in the mountains as well as my travels to other mountain ranges.

I love to use Risograph-style brushes and a duplitone effect in my work (usually found in newspaper print). It gives the illustration a more unique texture and can be a challenge to use.
